Our Vision
We've created a space for you.
We’ve lived in NE Portland for 15 years, and we know that this neighborhood is full of great people who care about family, community, and food. Our goal was to create a place for all of us to gather around good food!
We've created a comfy, fun space where everyone will feel welcome.
Our cafe is a hub for the community, a place to bring your family and visitors, and meet friends.
We've created a neighborhood spot for thoughtful, delicious food.
We are a local place for grabbing fresh produce for dinner, for taking the kids for a treat, or for meeting a friend for lunch.
Our space fills that gap for you, all while being focused on the community. Our menu has a mix of smoothies and juices, and delicious fresh breakfast and lunch items. Our market selections are ever expanding as we find new local vendors and hear from our dedicated customers about what they need in their homes.

Who Are We?
We’re Ben & Serina. We have two kids, a big garden, and a home we love in Madison South.
Portland is home for us: Ben moved to Portland in 1977 as a 2 year old, and Serina has been in Portland for 20 years.
We have seen Portland through some interesting times, and we know that its the people that make the difference. Doing our part has always been important in our family.
In 2014 we worked with our neighbors to turn an empty lot into the Beech Street Community Garden. Ben also is a founding volunteer and the current board president of the Rocky Butte Farmers Market.
These days, Serina’s mission is clean streets, so on the days Ben is at the community garden, you’ll find her picking up trash up our street and on 82nd Ave. Serina has also been a PTA member (and sometimes board member) since her kids were young.
Local, healthy food is a huge part of our lives and our health journeys. We particularly value the many benefits of fresh juice (in addition to it being delicious). We also know how important local produce is: to our health, to our environment, and to the Oregon farmers who we support.
