What's Fresh Love All About?
Our Vision
We are creating a space for you.
We’ve lived here for 13 years, and we know that this neighborhood is full of great people who care about family, community, and food. But, let’s be honest, there are very few options of places for us to gather around good food!
We are creating a comfortable, fun space in which everyone in the neighborhood will feel welcome.
Our juice bar and cafe will be a hub of the community, a place to bring your family, meet friends, and a place to brag about when you are talking about where you live.
We are creating a neighborhood space for thoughtful, delicious food.
We need a local place for grabbing fresh produce for dinner, for taking the kids for a treat, or for meeting a friend for lunch.
Our space will fill that gap for you, all while being focused on the community. Our menu will have a mix of smoothies and juices, and delicious fresh breakfast and lunch items. Our market will start small with produce and a few items, and we will expand into a full grocery over time.

Who Are We?
We’re Ben & Serina. We have two kids, a big garden, and a home we love in Madison South.
Portland is home for us: Ben moved to Portland as a 2 year old, and Serina has been in Portland for 20 years.
We have seen Portland through some rough times, so we know that people make the difference. Doing our part has always been important in our family.
8 years ago we worked with our neighbors to turn an empty lot into the Beech Street Community Garden (Ben is still there every weekend!). Ben is also one of the founding volunteers of the new Rocky Butte Farmers Market (opening in June!).
These days, Serina’s mission is clean streets, so on the days Ben is at the community garden, you’ll find her picking up trash up our street and on 82nd Ave. Serina has also been a PTA member (and sometimes board member) since her kids were young.
Local, healthy food is a huge part of our lives and our health journeys. We particularly value the many benefits of fresh juice (in addition to it being delicious). We also know how important local produce is: to our health, to our environment, and to the Oregon farmers who we support.
